~ Estate Sale Tales - The Digital Chapters

Chapter 4

The brick chimney perched atop Mildrena's house (see other 'Estate Sale' chapters, below) was simple, solid and beautiful against a spotless, blue sky. Ultimately, though, the original photograph was painfully ordinary . . . even dull.

You should know, by now, how I feel about 'ordinary'. ;-)

Not-too-surprisingly, I decided to Wow! it up -- quickly realizing only a series would do. And, so, presented for your consideration -- Mildrena's Chimney 1, 2, and 3.

Yep, this is what happens when I glance up . . .

  1. Incredible photography and what a treat to visit your blog. Thank you for posting in mine, since this has brought me to a blog I will enjoy very much.

  2. "Chimney Less Ordinary",,,,
I'd expect nothing less, and you always deliver!

  3. Ah, yes, it's ordinary (and I would say it'll be lovely to have batches of white clouds floating up there.)

Wow! I love your manipulation, especially the one with bubbles! You certainly have an amazing sense of humor... ;)

BTW, thanks a lot for your comments in my blog. It certainly enlightens me, WJ! THX!! ;-)

  4. Your awesome!

  5. I think I liked the third and fourth pictures best. I love bubbles and a bubble chimney is just perfect. The last one has an almost religious feeling to it.

  6. Wow Wendy, it amazes me every time how you take a photo and turn it into something magical like this...so otherworldly and very beautiful!!

  7. What incredible things you do - love the fantasy here especially no. 4. Wow! Again! :-)
