The Backstory -I love shooting pictures of trains! Luckily, they tend to be cooperative and photogenic models, and are always on their best behavior.
Well, not always . . .
Some very interesting work you are doing here. I shall be back.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Poet! You're always welcome at Art166!
ReplyDeleteYou've done some stunningly beautiful work. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteJohn, great to see you here!
ReplyDeleteYour wonderful compliment is exactly the boost I need in a week when I haven't sold a single piece. Hearing "stunningly beautiful work" should keep me going for quite awhile! Thank you kindly!
Now, go have one of your "Blak" thingies, "virtually" on me!

Thanks for dropping by my blog today.
ReplyDeleteI love your art!
Such texture!! And colour. I like the compositions too. I can almost here the creeking, squeeking metal and the rattling along the rails.
ReplyDeleteI love trains. Interesting ones like these anyway. And steam trains of course!!
Thanks, Diana!
ReplyDeleteYour "belly" post gave me nightmares!
Thanks, Snoo!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I wish I could find some good steam engines to shoot! Where on earth do you find them these days?
It is better than trees. But then I am into model trains and I like any kind of train picture.
ReplyDeleteI too think the train pictures are wonderful, but the ones of the trees just below are lovely as well. I am always delighted to see your blog pop up.
ReplyDeleteDr. John,
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think!
Thanks very much, ThreeCollie! I'm always delighted to see (read?) you here!
ReplyDeleteW.J. you turned these metal train wheels into colorful polished shining sculptures. Very Awesome! Lynette
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynette! Unfortunately for me, there were no orbs floating around the train yard!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time!
Plenty of steam trains in England. Never shot one though. Except a couple of mini ones!!
ReplyDeleteNow on my list of 'to shoot'.
You live in Texas?
ReplyDeleteWe have a steam train that you can ride....
Search for The Texas State Railroad. It runs between Rusk & Palestine... Makes a great day trip and is VERY photogenic!
Thanks for stopping by! BTW- I love train pics....
